A HEALING
He comes to meet me down by the river,
Whenever I need him He's always there.
Asking for nothing--always the giver,
I'm thankful to be in His loving care.
"Oh Master, there's heaviness deep inside,"
He takes both my hands as we start to pray.
His eyes touch my soul, and again I cried,
"Lord, I have come for a healing today."
"The river will hold you in its embrace,
Come into the water--let us begin.
Oh Father, you have a child full of grace,
Who asks to be saved from shadows of sin."
We walk back to shore--His hands touch my head,
"I am your needle and you are my thread."
